Is this for you?
The A List is for you if...
-
You're Producer-level or above (or Production Manager-level or above)
-
You've got 5+ years in unscripted TV, with broadcast credits to your name
-
You're feeling a bit lost, not sure where you fit any more, or just hungry to keep learning in a fast-paced industry - you don't need to have it all figured out
-
You're ready to invest in your career - and your community

If that's you, here's a look at what three months in the community could do for...
Month one: start with a diagnosis, not a guess.
Maybe you're feeling a bit lost - the work that used to come round isn't, and you're hearing about formats and platforms you don't fully understand. You start with your diagnostic: an honest, structured look at where you're strong, where the gaps are, and where the real opportunities sit for someone with your experience.
Month two: learn how the new landscape actually works.
Next, it's about understanding how things actually get made now - the partnerships, platforms and funding models behind the work - and working out where you fit. It's also where the network-building happens: real conversations, in rooms and group chats, with people who've been exactly where you are.
Month three: discover your answer.
Whether that's doubling down on what you do best, branching into new things, or going it alone - you make that call with a clear head, a sharper pitch, and a network that already knows what you're about.
And that's just the start - most members stay for the contacts, intel and opportunities that keep coming long after month three.

"Not only a great way to connect with freelancers - we've had in-person meetups and catch up weekly online - but also an invaluable resource with regular workshops and talks from commissioners and experts."
Nina, Producer

"I've struggled with loneliness on the career side of freelance life in recent years. You're building something super special. I believe in it massively."
Ben, Director

"Getting what I would go so far as to call life-changing lessons on how to gain professional visibility through LinkedIn. Talks from key industry figures from places like Amazon, Passion and Dorothy Street that felt like small coffee gatherings. And the DMs, which you have been so helpful on."
Anna, Director

"I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say your time and insight is valuable and so appreciated. It feels like you guys have our backs - each others' - and that is very precious when it feels like doors are closing right left and centre!"
Jess, Line Producer

"The weekly sessions help me feel connected to the industry, and being able to turn to Kimberly and Rosie each time I've had an approach about a project has been priceless."
Emma, Shooting Producer / Director

"The sense of community is genuinely strong. It's reminded me how much stronger we are when we come together. Kimberly and Rosie are incredibly focused and truly committed to creating opportunities and championing people in this industry."
Roman, Series Director

ABOUT US
A fresh approach to career support and community
We're not agents. We're not a job board. What we are is the people in your corner who make sure that when the right opportunity comes along, you're already in the best possible shape to take it - clear on what you offer, visible to the right people, and switched on to where the industry's actually heading, not just where it used to be.
In The A List community, freelancers get honest career guidance, brilliant peers, and direct access to Kimberly and Rosie's expertise - from navigating what's next, to rate negotiation, pitching, LinkedIn, and everything in between. All through an affordable monthly membership that fits around your career, not the other way round.
Powered by Talented People, a trusted name in senior hiring for TV. Founded by Kimberly Godbolt and Rosie Turner - former producers and directors who've spent more than two decades each on both sides of the industry - we understand what great talent looks like and what careers actually need to succeed for senior freelancers navigating this fast changing content world.
